Diane Cline RD, CDE, CPC – President
Changing your old thought processes into new improved thinking is the name of the game.
As a coordinator for diabetes and weight management programs working with hundreds of patients in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, I believe it is essential for patients to learn useful mind tools to assist in their journey to manage health-related problems. My expertise in helping people manage their disease successfully continues to evolve. In the past 14 years, I began working as a dietitian in several hospital settings, physician (internal medicine, endocrinologist, and surgical) offices and private practice. My passion is helping people successfully self-manage their diabetes and/or weight management through a team approach and lead a happy and healthy life. |

Robert “Pete” E. Cline, CPC, NLP Master Practitioner – Vice President
As a successful surgical weight loss patient, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to experience a powerful shift in my own beliefs about weight loss during my post-op care. I have been an active participant as well as a staff person for numerous experiential seminars in the past 5 years. As an active participant, I was able to work on who I was and who I wanted to be. After staffing over 30 seminars, I am thrilled to coordinate experiential seminars for MMES. Now, I am also in private practice as a Certified Performance Coach (CPC) and Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) Master. |

Professional Team
Karen Courtney, BS, CPT
I started in the fitness profession in 1995 as a second career, after leaving Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital. I began as a group fitness instructor and soon found my love for the fitness world. I began taking more educational classes to increase my knowledge and become a certified personal trainer. I taught group fitness classes and was a personal trainer at Texas Ladies Spa, Fit 4 her and currently Larry North in Southlake, TX. Fitness training for weight loss in groups or one-on-one is desired. |

Ginny Ives, RD, LD, CDE, LPC
I have worked in most every area of dietetics, but ended up about 15 years ago coming back to direct patient care and counseling. After working in ambulatory nutrition counseling for about 2 years, I became a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE). 3 years after that I decided to pursue a Master’s Degree in Counseling. After graduating, I completed a counseling internship at Pastoral Counseling and Education Center and eventually received my license as a professional counselor. I have been to Baylor Diabetes Center since 2004 and enjoy counseling my clients in weight management. |

Rick Curry, CPC, NLP Master, CDC
I have been working with individuals, small groups and families since 2004 assisting them in creating life style and behavioral changes to effect major and significant change in their communication, lives and relationships. My Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Coaching background provide healthcare professionals and patients new insights and motivations to create the changes needed to reach their desired state. Through explanation and demonstration of processes and methods, seminar participants will learn new ways of being with their patients that supports the patient’s health goals and effecting positive and lasting behavioral, life-style changes that assist the patient in reaching their health goal.
